What is MommyCon?

MommyCon is a nationwide convention series dedicated to creating and nurturing a community of parents and parents-to-be in celebration of natural parenting.

MommyCon takes a gentle and positive approach to educating parents about the emotional and physical benefits of natural birthing, breastfeeding and babywearing. We advocate values of holistic health, eco-friendly diapering, child safety standards and procedures, and female self-care and wellness. Our mission is to create a community of support, acceptance and non-judgement for parents journeying through parenthood.

Who will be speaking at MommyCon in my city?

We announce each city’s preview schedule at least 60 days prior to the event date. For a list of some of our current and past speakers, you can view our speakers page.

Do you have event ambassadors, if so how do I become one?

Yes! We have three event ambassador programs for 2017. For more information, please click the following links: Blogger Collective, Street Team, and Parent Squad. If you have any questions, please contact media@mommycon.com.

How many people will be attending MommyCon?

MommyCon attendance varies in each city but a typical event has a minimum of 750 attendees.

Can I bring my stroller to MommyCon?

Strollers are welcome at the event. However, we will ask for strollers to be folded if crowding becomes an issue.

What is your infant feeding policy?

We believe that parents have the right to feed their child wherever they please. The infant feeding lounge is also available as a private women only area.

Who will be exhibiting at MommyCon?

We will release exhibitor information approximately 30 days before each event.

My company would love to exhibit, sponsor or present at MommyCon, are you still accepting applications?

Yes, please send an email to us at info@mommycon.com with information about your company.

Can MommyCon come to my town?

Possibly! If you would like MommyCon to come to your town or big city, send us an email to info@mommycon.com and we can see what we can do.

Do you offer ASL interpreters?

If you are in need of an ASL interpreter, please register for the event a minimum of 60 days in advance indicating your need for an ASL interpreter. Upon registering please email us at info@mommycon.com indicating the city in which interpreting services are being requested.

2017 Ticket FAQ

Where/How do I buy tickets?

Tickets for MommyCon are only available on our website.

What does a General Admission ticket include?

General admission tickets include access to all of our Saturday sessions, event elements, and exhibitor hall.

How do I get a VIP ticket?

You must have a general admission ticket in order to purchase a VIP ticket upgrade. VIP tickets go on sale approximately 30 days prior to the event. Each 2017 city will have one VIP option and  VIP events and details will be announced prior to their on-sale date. Unfortunately, we are unable to answer questions about VIP options in your city until ticketing information has been released.

Does my child need a ticket?

Children 16 years old and under are free to attend the event with their parent or legal guardian. All adults are required to purchase a ticket to attend the event.

How do I get a discount or free ticket?

We offer financial based need tickets through our Scholarship Ticketing Program. We have Military Ticketing options as well as offer discounts through our Media Team members.

Do you offer media passes?

We sure do! Email media@mommycon.com with your website or publication and we will get you additional details regarding our media qualifications.

I can no longer attend the event, can I get a refund or transfer my ticket?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges, but tickets are always transferable to another ticket holder. Since our recent ticketing system upgrade, the transfer process has been incredibly simplified, so if you’ve transferred in the past, you may want to note the changes. We’re excited about this simplification because it’s much faster and easier for all of our attendees to transfer tickets!

  1. You should have an email with a button marked “download tickets”. Click that button to be taken to your ticket(s).
  2. When you click download, it will open a .pdf file with your ticket(s) and give you the option to print. You could also save it to a mobile device. We can scan you in at the event with the bar code of the ticket either as an image on a mobile device or as a paper ticket.
  3. To transfer your ticket(s), you simply need to send the appropriate ticket or tickets to the new ticket holder. You do not need to confirm a name change or transfer with MommyCon staff.
  4. If you do not have your e-ticket(s) and need them to be re-sent to you, please simply email tickets@mommycon.com with the first and last name you used when you purchased tickets, and the city of the event your tickets are for, and we will re-send your tickets to you so you can transfer them as you please!

Do you offer group tickets?

Yes, if you have a group of 5 or more looking to attend MommyCon, please email us at tickets@mommycon.com with how many tickets your group requires.

2018 Ticket FAQ

Ticket Options For MommyCon Chicago 2018

VIP Admission – VIP admission provides the ultimate MommyCon experience! This ticket includes 3 day admission (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and will give you access to all sessions (including some special VIP only sessions on Friday), event elements, the Friday night Sip and Shop, and the exhibitor hall on Saturday and Sunday. You will receive 1 drink ticket to enjoy during the Sip and Shop. All VIP attendees will receive an upgraded VIP gift bag. Additional perks to be announced.

3 Day Admission – 3 Day admission includes 3 day admission (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and will give you access to all sessions, event elements, the Friday night Sip and Shop, and the exhibitor hall on Saturday and Sunday. All 3 day admission attendees will receive a gift bag.

Premium Admission (Saturday or Sunday) – Premium admission includes single day admission (Saturday or Sunday) and will give you access to that day’s sessions, event elements, and exhibitor hall. Premium admission attendees will receive a gift bag.

General Admission (Saturday or Sunday) – General admission includes single day admission (Saturday or Sunday) and will give you access to that day’s session, event elements and exhibitor hall. This ticket does not include a gift bag.

Ticket Options for MommyCon NYC 2018, Charlotte 2018, and ???

When will tickets for 2018 go on sale? Presale for our first three cities, Chicago, NYC, and Charlotte, will begin on June 1, 2017 and will run through August 31, 2017. Regular priced tickets for these events will remain on sale until the event date, or until they sell out. Additional 2018 cities and on-sale dates will be announced soon!

I want to go to MommyCon! How do I buy tickets? You can purchase tickets to any of our events on our website! Tickets are only available online and will remain on sale until sold out or until the end of the event. Tickets are not sold at the door.

I want the ultimate MommyCon experience! How do I upgrade to VIP? For our 2018 events, you no longer need to purchase a separate ticket to upgrade to VIP! VIP tickets now include admission to the event. VIP tickets can be purchased as soon as tickets go on sale for that event and will be available until they sell out. You can purchase VIP tickets to any 2018 event on our website.

Help! I purchased a General Admission ticket but have decided I would prefer a Premium Admission ticket! Can I upgrade? Absolutely! Please email us at tickets@mommycon.com with the name and email address the ticket was purchased under in order to obtain assistance in upgrading your ticket. Ticket upgrades can only be processed for the same event and credit card information will need to be obtained in order to process the cost difference for the upgrade.

I purchased a Saturday ticket to MommyCon Chicago but just found out I won’t be able to attend that day. Can I switch my ticket to an equivalent Sunday ticket instead? You sure can! Please email us at tickets@mommycon.com with the name and email address the ticket was purchased under. We can then process your ticket change for you. Tickets can only be exchanged for another ticket to the same event. Exchanges cannot be processed between different events.

How do I get a discounted or free ticket? We offer financial need based General Admission tickets through our Scholarship Ticketing Program. We also have Military Ticketing options as well as offer discounts on regular priced tickets through our Media Team members. Presale tickets are not eligible for discounts.
